Day 1.
08.00 – departure from Lutsk (Hotel “Ukraine”).
09.00 – 11.30 – we go on an excursion to Tarakan Fort. It was once the pinnacle of engineering thought and a discovery of military architecture. Now destroyed walls of arches, brick mounds and signs “No passage” resemble the scenery of the apocalyptic film. But despite its neglected appearance, Tarakan Fort attracts with its past grandeur and amazing intertwining of underground tunnels used for military training and defense.
11.40 – 12-40 – walking tour of Dubna Castle. Dubna Castle is the main attraction of the city of Dubna, Rivne region. This is one of the objects of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve of Dubna. Dubna Castle rises majestically over the river Ikva. Here in the past the princes of Ostroh kept their numerous riches.
Lunch time.
13.40 – 14.30 – moving to Rivne
14.30 – 17.00 – we visit Rivne Zoo. A real highlight of the city, the best zoo in Western Ukraine, a place to learn about nature and recreation. Today its territory reaches 13.5 hectares. The collection of animals includes 179 species from all continents of the globe, 24 of which are listed in the International Red Book.
The main part of the zoo is the remains of an old orchard and the only natural forest within the city with an area of 4.7 hectares. The zoo has more than 130 species of trees, shrubs and grasses. Good care of animals helps to produce offspring. So every year almost 30 species of animals are born in the zoo.
17:00 – 18:00 – dinner in Rivne
18:30: – 19:30 – walk through the Tunnel of Love.
An extraordinary forest miracle – a grand green grotto over an abandoned railway is located in Western Polissya, 7 km from the village of Klevan (24 km from the city of Rivne), Rivne region of Ukraine. The tunnel of love in the Rivne region has become popular recently, because a few years ago almost no one heard anything about it. Now it is rightly called the most romantic place in Ukraine. Time for a photo.
19.30 – Departure home.
20.30 – approximate time of return to Lutsk.

- Tarakan Fort: UAH 30 – adult;
